Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is gearing up for winter 2025/2026 with a major network expansion from its Copenhagen (CPH) hub. Beginning October 2025, the carrier will introduce six brand-new destinations, boost frequencies on key sectors and carry over 22 of its most popular summer routes into the colder months. Altogether, SAS expects a 40% rise in seat capacity and a 75% uplift in overall connectivity across Scandinavia and Europe.

Six New Winter Routes from Copenhagen

  • Vienna (VIE): Daily morning service to Austria’s imperial capital.
  • Tel Aviv (TLV): Three flights per week to the Middle East’s “Silicon Wadi,” connecting onward to North America.
  • Marrakech (RAK): Twice-weekly link to Morocco’s cultural gem and gateway to the Atlas Mountains.
  • Madeira (FNC): Weekly hops to the Portuguese island famed for its gardens and year-round mild climate.
  • Fuerteventura (FUE): Weekly beach breaks on the Canary Island known for windsurfing.
  • Kittilä (KTT): Twice-weekly ski charters to Finnish Lapland, perfect for Northern Lights chases.
