On September 1st, 2024, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) officially joins the SkyTeam alliance, which means a major shift in lounge access for SAS travelers, among other things. With this transition, SAS EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members, as well as SAS Plus/Business travelers, will be able to access a variety of new lounges, including those of partners like KLM, Delta, and Air France. Despite the move, SAS has managed to retain lounge agreements with Lufthansa (a Star Alliance partner) for certain specific airports. Let’s look at the updated list, according to SAS’ website.
