Some exciting news from EVA Air, who have announced they will be launching a brand new route connecting Taipei and Munich. The Milano route is now also officially resuming after being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

EVA Air award redemptions are quirky. I recently made my first award redemption using their frequent flyer program, and the process was not easy, especially since I was booking a flight for two people, myself and a travel companion.

Historically Lufthansa First class partner award redemptions have only been available 14 days in advance, making it a little difficult to plan trips with them. However, it seems that has now been extended to up to 30 days in advance. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not this is a permanent change.
