Earlier this year, in February, SAS announced that they will start to fly from Stockholm (ARN) and Copenhagen (CPH) to Toronto (YYZ). Award tickets were finally released and made available to book!
Route Details
SAS will offer 7x weekly flights from Scandinavia to Toronto, mixing it with every other day from Copenhagen respectively Stockholm.
- Copenhagen - 3x weekly flights, covering 3,907 miles in each direction, and is blocked at 8h5m westbound and 8h10m eastbound.
- Stockholm - 4x weekly flights, covering 3,934 miles in each direction, and is blocked at 8h55m westbound, and 8h10m eastbound.

The route will primarily be served by SAS’s latest fleet addition, the A321 LR. It is the first long-haul narrow body aircraft in the SAS fleet, and offers three cabins, Economy, Premium Economy, and fully lie-flat Business (with 2-2/1-1 seating).
The inaugural flight will take place June 2nd from Copenhagen. At the time of writing, there are still a couple of award seats left, albeit only in economy!
Availability
Taking a look at the initial availability published, we have found that availability for these flights does differ quite a lot between different partner programs.
We do find that United, Aeroplan and Eurobonus are all being allocated up to two (2) business class seats per flight. LifeMiles on the other hand does not yet have any availability on these flights.
As with all SAS award availability, new seats are released 330 days in advance, with more seats usually being released around 1-2 months prior to departure.
