Ad-Free YouTube Content for SkyMiles Members

As part of the Delta Sync program, SkyMiles Members will soon enjoy ad-free access to YouTube content, including creators, podcasts, and music, on most Delta flights. This collaboration is designed to bring the comfort of at-home entertainment to the skies, aligning with Delta’s vision to enhance travel through innovative partnerships.

Cutting-Edge Seatback Entertainment

Delta’s new cloud-based in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, developed in collaboration with Thales Avionics, will debut on select aircraft starting in 2026. Features of the new Delta Sync seatback experience include:

  • 4K HDR QLED Displays: High-contrast, theater-like visuals.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Allowing passengers to pair personal wireless devices.
  • Enhanced Storage: A 96-terabyte system for a vast library of high-quality content.
  • Personalized Recommendations: Tailored content suggestions powered by advanced algorithms.
  • “Do Not Disturb” Mode: Greater control over the in-flight experience.

These upgrades will also leverage enhanced connectivity, with Delta exploring multi-network solutions for more reliable streaming and improved performance across its global network by late 2025.

New Features for a Personalized Journey

Delta is introducing several new features to enhance the travel experience:

  • Onboard Experience Planner: Enables passengers to set preferences like meal service or wake-up notifications, which are communicated to flight attendants.

  • Seatback Announcement Translation: Crucial flight updates translated into passengers’ preferred languages.
  • Arrival Mode: Integrated travel information, such as connection details and ground transport options, displayed directly on seatback screens.
