American Airlines has announced its most significant trans-Atlantic expansion since 2019. As part of this expansion:

American Airlines Summer 2024 Routes

Starting next summer, there will be more than 200 US cities with one-stop access to Europe via these new routes. Ticket sales begin on August 20, available on aa.com and American Airlines mobile app.

Philadelphia will see its largest European connection since 2019, offering 15 daily nonstop flights to 14 European destinations. This includes:

In addition, the airline is enhancing its connectivity across the Atlantic.

The new Dallas-Fort Worth to Barcelona route positions American as the leading US airline serving Barcelona.

The relaunched Chicago to Venice route provides an exclusive nonstop service, augmenting an existing route from Philadelphia and ensuring wider domestic connections.

American is also extending its service throughout the year to major European destinations, including Lisbon, Madrid, and Rome.

Expansion starts this winter

Travelers eager for winter getaways will be pleased with American’s expanded schedule to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. This includes an increased frequency of flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to Buenos Aires from this October.
