Key Updates

  • Loyalty Point Rewards: AAdvantage Loyalty Points will now contribute to achieving World of Hyatt status levels and earning Free Night Awards. This allows for more streamlined rewards accumulation across both programs.
  • Redeem Miles for Hyatt Stays: AAdvantage miles can be exchanged for World of Hyatt Free Night Awards, providing greater flexibility in using your miles for stays at Hyatt properties worldwide.

Upcoming Changes for Linked Status Members

  • The current ability to simultaneously earn both AAdvantage miles and Hyatt Bonus Points on eligible flights and hotel stays will end after December 31, 2024. Qualifying stays and flights must be completed or depart by this date to take advantage of this benefit.
  • Starting in 2025, members will continue to earn AAdvantage miles on Hyatt stays and have the option to convert World of Hyatt points into AAdvantage® miles.
