No surprises here—status thresholds and Loyalty Point Rewards levels are unchanged for 2025. Whether you’re aiming for Gold or climbing higher, it’s straightforward to track your progress and enjoy rewards along the way.

Personalized Loyalty Point Rewards

American is upping its game with even more customizable Loyalty Point Rewards:

• New collectible luggage tags: Available when you hit 15,000 Loyalty Points—before even reaching AAdvantage Gold.
• Hyatt perks: Link your World of Hyatt account to unlock hotel awards and status opportunities.
• Support sustainability: At 175,000 Loyalty Points, choose to support Sustainable Aviation Fuel (replacing the old carbon offset option).

Spend Miles in New Ways

Starting in 2025, you can use your AAdvantage miles for food and beverages on eligible flights! Other options to use miles include:

• Inflight Wi-Fi sessions.
• Access to Flagship First Dining (starting at Platinum Pro).
• Admirals Club One Day Passes or Flagship Lounge single visit passes.
• Tickets for concerts and sports events.

Systemwide Upgrades Extended

Good news! Beginning March 1, 2025, systemwide upgrades will last through the entire membership year, giving you more flexibility to use them.

New Million Miler Lifetime Status Levels

Flying often? American is introducing higher lifetime status tiers:

• 4 million miles: Lifetime AAdvantage Platinum Pro status.
• 5 million miles: Lifetime AAdvantage Executive Platinum status.

These join the existing lifetime status levels at 1 million (Gold) and 2 million (Platinum).
