Clube Smiles: Earn Miles Every Month (Subscription)
Clube Smiles is a subscription-based mileage club offered by GOL Smiles (Brazil) that allows members to accumulate miles monthly, access exclusive promotions, and enjoy benefits to accelerate their journey toward their next trip.
- Monthly Mile Accrual: Each Clube Smiles plan offers a predetermined number of miles credited to your account every month.
- Exclusive Promotions: Members gain access to special deals and discounts on flights, products, and services.
- Benefits and Perks: Depending on the tier, members can enjoy advantages such as bonus miles, discounts on mile purchases, and even guaranteed Diamante status (the highest tier in the Smiles program).
Tiers and Pricing
As of September 2024, there are 6 different tiers: 1k, 2k, 5k, 7k, 10k and 20k miles per month, ranging from $7 USD to $140 USD. Every tier offers different benefits, discounts, multipliers, and even one-time bonuses.
How to join Clube Smiles
Joining Clube Smiles is usually a straightforward process that can be done online through the GOL Smiles website or app. You might need to have an existing Smiles account to subscribe. During the subscription process, you’ll typically be able to choose the desired plan and provide payment information. It’s also possible to change plans at any time (no commitments).
How To Join GOL Smiles (As A Foreigner)
To join GOL Smiles as a foreigner and create a new account, follow these steps:
- Visit the Smiles website at www.smiles.com.br.
- From your browser, you’ll be asked to translate the page. Unless you understand Portuguese, you’ll definitely want to have Google Translate assist you.
- After the page is translated, navigate to the top ribbon next to the search bar and click Sign up.
- You’ll be asked to “Enter your CPF.” Click on the button that says Registration without CPF (foreigners) just above the Continue button.
- You’ll be asked to provide an identification document. Select Passport and enter your passport number.
- Enter your personal information and contact information and create your account.
- You may be prompted to confirm your account information via email. Write down and use your Smiles account number whenever you try to earn miles.
Some considerations
- You will need a valid passport to create an account.
- You might need to provide a Brazilian phone number, if your foreign phone number doesn’t work, to verify your account. You can get one using Skype, or similar providers.
- You can earn GOL Smiles miles by flying on GOL airlines, staying at GOL partner hotels, and even joining their Clube Smiles.
