Updates For SAS EuroBonus Members (July 2025)
July is a landmark month for SAS EuroBonus members, bringing monumental news that will shape the future of the airline. Key updates include Air France-KLM moving to become the majority owner, a record-breaking order for 55 new Embraer jets, and significant changes to the 24-hour cancellation policy and SkyTeam award ticket fees. On top of that, there’s a new route to Greenland and several promotions to earn more points. Let’s dive in!

Turkish Airlines invited Miles&Smiles members to fly to all six continents and earn 1,000,000 bonus miles. In a surprising turn of events, the airline pulled the promotion early due to overwhelming demand. Here’s what happened and what you need to know if you managed to book in time.
KLM Business Class 787-9 Review (2025): EZE-SCL Fifth Freedom Flight
This is one of KLM’s fifth freedom flights that runs 7x a week between Buenos Aires and Santiago. I had to go to Chile for business. When considering all the options, I was not only curious to try KLM’s service on this route and compare it to the long-haul version, but I also saw that there was a lot of availability on these flights with EuroBonus points. At a great rate, given that EB still has a region-based award chart, you can pretty much travel across the entire South America for the same price.
